Regis House is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), charitable, community-based organization with the mission to improve lives for a healthy community through mental health, family support and substance abuse services.? Regis House, Inc. has served more than 70,000 families throughout Miami-Dade County since its inception.? Programs and services such as co-occurring psychiatric/mental health, substance abuse services, individual, group, and family counseling/therapy, school-based prevention programs, and public assistance programs are many of the programs, and services the agency has to offer.

Family Therapy/Individual Mental Health & Substance Abuse Counseling:
The Family Therapy Services offered at Regis House are structured; scientific sessions which follow the empirical, evidenced based therapeutic model Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT).? BSF uses a strategy of focused interventions that improve problematic family relations and skill-building strategies in order to provide youth and their families with the tools needed to decrease individual and family risk factors. Individual therapy addressing mental health issues like depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, unresolved loss and grief, as well as issues of substance abuse, is also available. These services are designed to offer support and foster a sense of family through community awareness and family interventions.?
